General biological science and biotechnological courses in all fields, including three credits of lab courses. Students are suggested to take these courses in the first two years of college.

The foundation courses in each professional field. Students are required to take at least 16 credits from these advanced curricula (e.g. molecular biology, neuroscience, etc.)

The department designs five major professional fields for students to study. They can get certificates after fully completing these courses in each professional field.
